Our Team

At Waiters Inc it is important to us that our staff understand the concept of hospitality. They are reading for a degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management and share our passion for quality food served to a high standard.  These waiters are trained in the concept of hospitality. They understand how to exceed the guest’s expectations to achieve the ‘wow’ factor by anticipate the guests’ needs.

 

Kirsteen Henderson, BA - Director

Currently reading for an honours degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management at The Scottish Hotel School, University of Strathclyde, Kirsteen has a qualification from Glasgow College of Food Technology (GCFT) in professional cookery. After 14 years working in a family business she returned to full time education. Since then she has worked as a commis chef, a bar assistant, and at the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel, Perthshire, award winning One Devonshire Gardens, Glasgow and in the flagship restaurant of the five-star five-diamond Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado, USA.

 

Adam Pinder, BA - Director

As well as having a graduate degree in Hospitality Management from The University of Strathclyde, Adam brings experience of the hospitality industry from esteemed establishments such as The Royal Household, Harbour View Hotel (Martha’s Vineyard MA, USA) and The Broadmoor Hotel (Colorado, USA).  He has also worked in bars, restaurants and catering companies throughout Glasgow.

 

Stuart Brough and Michael Hughes - Chefs

With experience gained from a plethora of prestigious kitchens they are both great assets to the Waiters Inc. team.  They consistently astound us with their incredible culinary skills and knowledge of food.

Stuart has worked in The Rogano, The Buttery and Turnberry, to name but a few. He has also held Executive Chef Positions in Leonardo’s, Beverly Kay Events, Mal Maison, Charlie Parkers, and the West Point Hotel.

Michael has worked in on The Hebridean Princess Cruise Liner, The Royal Concert Hall, The Rogano, The Buttery and The Grand Pavilion in the Caribbean.

 

Deborah Ashton - Supervisor

Deborah is currently reading for a degree in Hotel and Hospitality Management with joint honours in Human Resource Management at the University of Strathclyde. She has worked for the Gleneagles hotel in 2005 and was a member of the food and beverage team for the G8 summit in July 2005. Deborah has also worked for Brian Maule, former head chef of la Gavroche, at  his fine dining restaurant le Chardon D’Or in Glasgow.

Adam Greenhorn - Supervisor

Adam has vast experience in hospitality and he too has worked at Gleaneagles and other prestigious properties at management level before starting a degree in Hotel and Hospitality management. Adam will Graduate from Strathclyde University in 2008 when he will become a full-time member of the Waiters Inc team.
